Jiamusi University

Jiamusi University was founded in 1947. It is a key comprehensive university under the Education Department of Heilongjiang Province which is larger in scale and is more formidable with integrated strength. JU has an area of 1.5 million square meters and its buildings have a floor space of 1.06 million square meters. JU has a total of 26 colleges and 69 reaserch laboratories. The specialties are included in the following eleven academic disciplines: literature, natural sciences, technological science, medicine, economics, education, law, history, management, agriculture and fine arts, with 72 specialties offering bachelor’s or associate degrees, 10 first—level discipline offering master’s degree, 7 second—level discipline offering master’s degree and 3 disciplines offering professional master’s degree.
