I, Introduction:
It is located in Xi'an, the capital city of Shaanxi Province, holds the distinction of being China's first institution specializing in petroleum engineering and petrochemical engineering. Established through a unique collaboration between China's three major oil giants (CNPC, Sinopec, and CNOOC) and the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government, it has grown to become a prestigious "Double World-Class" initiative university and a key institution for high-level university construction in Shaanxi Province. In 2022, it achieved national recognition by being selected for the second round of the "Double World-Class" construction project.
