In the morning of 22nd August 2017, representatives of Beijing Hongzhou Learning Co. Ltd. visited Embassy of Croatia in Beijing. The Secretary of Embassy warmly welcomed the company representatives and strongly affirmed the effort and achievement of Beijing Hongzhou Learning Co. Ltd.. They stated that they would give a great support to the cooperation between China and Croatia in term of Education projects. With the advancement of B&R, they hope to boost more and more exchange and communication projects between two countries.

From 25th February to 6th March in 1998, China and Croatia signed the “Culture and Education cooperation implementation plan for the period of 1998 - 2000”. In October 2004, University of Zagreb officially opened the Sinology course. China shown a great support by sending Chinese teachers to the university and donating a number of audio-visual equipments and books. In December 2010, with the invitation of the All-China Youth Federation, 50 young Croatian participants spent a visit to China. In March 2013, the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports of the Republic of Croatia reached and signed a mutual agreement for the Education Cooperation Program for the period of 2013-2016.
